Definitions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"542\"><strong data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"496\">Lessor:<\/strong><br data-start=\"496\" data-end=\"499\">Silk &amp; Sand Apartments, located in Cura\u00e7ao.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"544\" data-end=\"605\"><strong data-start=\"544\" data-end=\"554\">Guest:<\/strong><br data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"557\">The natural person who books\/rents an apartment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"607\" data-end=\"708\"><strong data-start=\"607\" data-end=\"648\">Fellow Guests \/ Traveling Companions:<\/strong><br data-start=\"648\" data-end=\"651\">Persons staying in the apartment together with the Guest.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"715\" data-end=\"747\"><strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"747\">2. Reservation &amp; Payment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"796\"><strong data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"794\">2.1 A reservation is only confirmed when:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"797\" data-end=\"936\">\n<li data-start=\"797\" data-end=\"848\">\n<p data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"848\">the booking form has been completed and signed,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"907\">\n<p data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"907\">a copy of the main guest\u2019s passport has been received,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"936\">\n<p data-start=\"910\" data-end=\"936\">the deposit has been paid.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"938\" data-end=\"965\"><strong data-start=\"938\" data-end=\"963\">2.2 Payment schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"1126\">\n<li data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"1042\">\n<p data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1042\"><strong data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"980\">Deposit:<\/strong> 50% of the total rental amount within 7 days after booking.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1126\">\n<p data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1126\"><strong data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1086\">Remaining balance + security deposit:<\/strong> no later than 60 days prior to arrival.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1128\" data-end=\"1273\"><strong data-start=\"1128\" data-end=\"1186\">2.3 For bookings made within 4 weeks prior to arrival:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1189\">100% of the rental amount, including the security deposit, must be paid immediately.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1352\"><strong data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1282\">2.4<\/strong> Failure to pay on time entitles the Lessor to cancel the reservation.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1386\"><strong data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1386\">3. Security Deposit<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1548\"><strong data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1395\">3.1<\/strong> The security deposit is \u20ac300 or \u20ac400, depending on the apartment.<br data-start=\"1461\" data-end=\"1464\"><strong data-start=\"1464\" data-end=\"1471\">3.2<\/strong> The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, provided that:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1682\">\n<li data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1576\">\n<p data-start=\"1551\" data-end=\"1576\">no damage has occurred,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1614\">\n<p data-start=\"1579\" data-end=\"1614\">the apartment has been left tidy,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1615\" data-end=\"1682\">\n<p data-start=\"1617\" data-end=\"1682\">there has been no excessive water and\/or electricity consumption.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1684\" data-end=\"1758\"><strong data-start=\"1684\" data-end=\"1691\">3.3<\/strong> Any additional costs or damages will be deducted from the deposit.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1765\" data-end=\"1807\"><strong data-start=\"1769\" data-end=\"1807\">4. Water &amp; Electricity Consumption<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1809\" data-end=\"2020\"><strong data-start=\"1809\" data-end=\"1816\">4.1<\/strong> A reasonable usage of water and electricity is included.<br data-start=\"1873\" data-end=\"1876\"><strong data-start=\"1876\" data-end=\"1883\">4.2<\/strong> Meter readings are recorded at check-in and check-out.<br data-start=\"1938\" data-end=\"1941\">Consumption exceeding the included allowance will be deducted from the deposit.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2027\" data-end=\"2057\"><strong data-start=\"2031\" data-end=\"2057\">5. Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2059\" data-end=\"2143\"><strong data-start=\"2059\" data-end=\"2066\">5.1<\/strong> Cancellations must be submitted in writing to: <strong data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2141\"><a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"2116\" data-end=\"2139\">bookingen@silk-sand.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2173\"><strong data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2171\">5.2 Cancellation fees:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2397\">\n<li data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2260\">\n<p data-start=\"2176\" data-end=\"2260\">Up to <strong data-start=\"2182\" data-end=\"2193\">60 days<\/strong> before arrival \u2192 refund of deposit minus \u20ac150 administration fee<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2261\" data-end=\"2322\">\n<p data-start=\"2263\" data-end=\"2322\"><strong data-start=\"2263\" data-end=\"2277\">60\u201330 days<\/strong> before arrival \u2192 deposit is non-refundable<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2323\" data-end=\"2397\">\n<p data-start=\"2325\" data-end=\"2397\"><strong data-start=\"2325\" data-end=\"2343\">Within 30 days<\/strong> before arrival \u2192 full rental amount is non-refundable<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2474\"><strong data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2406\">5.3<\/strong> We strongly recommend taking out travel and cancellation insurance.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2481\" data-end=\"2517\"><strong data-start=\"2485\" data-end=\"2517\">6. Arrival, Stay &amp; Departure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2519\" data-end=\"2580\"><strong data-start=\"2519\" data-end=\"2526\">6.1<\/strong> Check-in: from 4:00 PM<br data-start=\"2549\" data-end=\"2552\">Check-out: before 11:00 AM<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2582\" data-end=\"2681\"><strong data-start=\"2582\" data-end=\"2589\">6.2<\/strong> Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional costs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2683\" data-end=\"2767\"><strong data-start=\"2683\" data-end=\"2690\">6.3<\/strong> Guests will be personally welcomed by our local property manager in Cura\u00e7ao.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2769\" data-end=\"2837\"><strong data-start=\"2769\" data-end=\"2776\">6.4<\/strong> Only registered guests are allowed to stay in the apartment.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2844\" data-end=\"2875\"><strong data-start=\"2848\" data-end=\"2875\">7. Use of the Apartment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2877\" data-end=\"2918\"><strong data-start=\"2877\" data-end=\"2916\">7.1 The following is not permitted:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2919\" data-end=\"3046\">\n<li data-start=\"2919\" data-end=\"2952\">\n<p data-start=\"2921\" data-end=\"2952\">smoking inside the apartment,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2953\" data-end=\"2983\">\n<p data-start=\"2955\" data-end=\"2983\">hosting parties or events,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2984\" data-end=\"3046\">\n<p data-start=\"2986\" data-end=\"3046\">causing noise disturbance (quiet hours: 10:00 PM \u2013 8:00 AM).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3048\" data-end=\"3148\"><strong data-start=\"3048\" data-end=\"3055\">7.2<\/strong> Pets are not allowed.<br data-start=\"3077\" data-end=\"3080\"><strong data-start=\"3080\" data-end=\"3087\">7.3<\/strong> The apartment must be left in a clean and orderly condition.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3155\" data-end=\"3175\"><strong data-start=\"3159\" data-end=\"3175\">8. Liability<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3177\" data-end=\"3216\"><strong data-start=\"3177\" data-end=\"3214\">8.1 The Lessor is not liable for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3217\" data-end=\"3367\">\n<li data-start=\"3217\" data-end=\"3267\">\n<p data-start=\"3219\" data-end=\"3267\">loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3268\" data-end=\"3308\">\n<p data-start=\"3270\" data-end=\"3308\">accidents, injuries, or bodily harm,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3309\" data-end=\"3367\">\n<p data-start=\"3311\" data-end=\"3367\">interruptions in electricity, water supply, or internet.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3369\" data-end=\"3461\"><strong data-start=\"3369\" data-end=\"3376\">8.2<\/strong> The Guest is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their fellow guests.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3463\" data-end=\"3565\"><strong data-start=\"3463\" data-end=\"3470\">8.3<\/strong> Participation in activities such as swimming, sports or excursions is at the Guest\u2019s own risk.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3572\" data-end=\"3596\"><strong data-start=\"3576\" data-end=\"3596\">9. Force Majeure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3598\" data-end=\"3790\">In the event of force majeure (including natural disasters, flight cancellations, power outages, or other unforeseen circumstances), the Lessor is not liable for compensation or reimbursement.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3797\" data-end=\"3816\"><strong data-start=\"3801\" data-end=\"3816\">10. Privacy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3818\" data-end=\"3856\">Personal data will only be used for:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3857\" data-end=\"3968\">\n<li data-start=\"3857\" data-end=\"3888\">\n<p data-start=\"3859\" data-end=\"3888\">processing the reservation,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3889\" data-end=\"3968\">\n<p data-start=\"3891\" data-end=\"3968\">mandatory guest registration with the local authorities (Cura\u00e7ao regulation).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3970\" data-end=\"4073\">Processing is carried out in accordance with GDPR (EU) and our privacy policy as stated on the website.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4080\" data-end=\"4105\"><strong data-start=\"4084\" data-end=\"4105\">11. Governing Law<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4107\" data-end=\"4221\">These terms are governed by Dutch law.<br data-start=\"4145\" data-end=\"4148\">Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General terms and conditions GENERAL TERMS &amp;
